Hayes and Joden had a great time at The Bass Federation National Championship! They fished hard, overcame adversity, kept grinding, learned a lot, met some great fellow juniors from around the country, and grew as young anglers. Grateful for the opportunity to represent 901 in the National Championship and looking forward to sending more 901 teams again!

Decent first day of practice. Had a 3 fish limit but it took all day to get. This is gonna be a tough one but we’ve got the right juniors for the job I think.

This picture says a lot about Tucker. Not only is it funny but it also shows a lot about his character as a young man. Hartwell was tough for tons of anglers this weekend and ours were not immune to those tough conditions either. While many young anglers would allow frustration to take over, young folks like Tucker found some positive attitude and humor in just having one of those days. Bass fishing teaches young people and adults many lessons that translate to life. One of those being overcoming challenge and adversity. And just like that they found some good fish day three and brought them across the biggest high school stage in the country. I routinely see Tucker mentoring young anglers as well. He doesn’t have to, but he wants to. Youth Anglers like Tucker are what makes us proud to be part of the 901 Bass Club and this wonderful sport we all love! Thanks Tucker!!!

End of season party, with awards and fellowship. We will meet at Green FROG Coffee and Grill located at 1649 S. Highland Ave. Jackson,TN. 38301. On June the 8th starts at 6pm in the back dining area. All Anglers and Parents are welcome, awards for everyone and funds for the top 1/3 of the trail in High-School and Juniors of points. They have good food here, so plan on eating or snacking.
