Baseball Drills with Coach Rocky & Talon

One of the best tools to have as a player is to be more excited for your teammates success than your own! This quality is not easily taught but a joy to be a part of!

These moments I like to reflect on my boy and his love and dedication for the game. Talon deserves all the Dad recognition I can give him due to me being harder on him as his Head Coach. I have to say he earned that Game Ball today and that Homerun pin. Talon hit .833 today in the two games combined and really did show out at short. He had diving catches, double plays, and around 10 put outs today on a ruff bad hopping infield. This boy works so hard each and every day at home and on the field. He is a true team leader and cheers for his teammates with passion. Talon yells to his teammates where to throw the ball before every play and reminds them of the outs. This boy is always laser focused on base and in the field with pre hops and all. I cant be more proud of his growth in the game and no he isn't perfect but boy those good plays are stacking up... great work Talon- Love DAD

Talon may not be holding a ring like all his buddies he knows but he can not hang his head low. Talon topped the team this weekend hitting the highest batting average at .889 and the most hits on the team at 8. He also topped the charts in on base percent and slugging. He was the second highest in RBIs and the top scorer on the team. I am going to say he had 12 putouts this weekend also in 3 games. Today we got home and went back to work some more. Talons has a goal to be the top dog and I told him to do that he must work when everyone works then work double when they are not. He is getting the rewards from me here every weekend... this is my ring for him... hopefully he can look back one day and realize his dad was his biggest fan even if I am the guy driving him to tears sometimes while we work. Love you Talon-Dad GREAT WEEKEND 👍

Proud of Talon!!! First tournament of the year and he pulls off the best batting average for the tournament weekend and the 8u AAA kids he played with won the championship. Great start to the year!!
