I recently heard a funny story on the radio about people who go to open houses just for the free food or to use the bathroomโฆ not because theyโre actually interested in buying the house.
And honestlyโฆ it made me think.
As a real estate agent, open houses are something weโre taught to do as part of marketing a home. But the reality can sometimes look like this:
โข Curious neighbors stopping by
โข People just looking for decorating ideas
โข Visitors who arenโt financially ready to buy
โข And sometimesโฆ very few serious buyers
So it raises a real question.

๐จ Perfect example of why people feel โstuckโ even when eating healthierโฆ
A lot of people look at cereal (or honestly any food) and think theyโre eating way fewer calories than they really are.
Why?
Because nutrition labels use tiny โbabyโ serving sizes and most of us eyeball portions instead of actually measuring or logging.
For example:
Letโs say I eat 2.5 cups of this cereal + 2 cups of unsweetened almond milk.
That comes out to around 645 calories.
Most people would guess under 500 without thinking twice. Me included before I counted my calories correctly and consistently.
That extra 150โ200 calories adds up FAST over days and weeksโฆ and suddenly youโre wondering why progress has stalled or you feel โStuckโ
Iโm not saying this is โbadโ or โgoodโ food, just using it as a real-life example of why you might feel like youโre doing everything right but still not seeing results.
