The Midsouth 305 Sprint Car Association (MSCA) - local 305 Sprint Car racing The MSCA is an officially licensed non-profit organization, based in the greater Memphis, TN area.
Our focus is to promote 305 sprint car racing in the mid south area.
After careful consideration and talking with competitors and Trent Francis we have decided to put the wings back on for the No Fender Friday race on June 10th at Crowley’s Ridge Speedway - most of our competitors are young or have never raced a sprint car without wings - for the safety of the competitors this is the best choice for fans - competitors and the track ownership group - we will still bring one of the best shows you will see in 2022. This will be a points race as originally reflected on the schedule.
The MSCA roars back into action on June 4th (and his Saturday) at the famed I-30 Speeway for the 1k to win / 150 to start showdown - This will also be round 1 of the Holcomb 100 - the first of a four race series benefiting Melvin Holcomb - we will be sharing the stage with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series Rockabilly 45. This is the first time the MSCA will see action at the fast 1/4 mile red clay banked bull ring - grab a friend and bring them out for what’s going to be a great show.
This is the last day to join the MSCA for 2022 - all dues and paperwork must be filled out and turned in by the drop of the green flag Saturday - there will also be a $20.00 entry fee - half the money will go to Melvin Holcomb and the other half to the MSCA Member hard charger.
Tomorrow night at Crowleys Ridge Raceway Trent will host an open practice for the the wingless 305 Sprint cars of the MSCA Championship series - this will gake place during their regular night of racing. This is the first time in nearly 8 years the MSCA will be taking the wings off.
The MSCA hits the track this Sat night for Legends Night at the famed Riverside International Speedway. This will be the second night for the MSCA Series to scream into action in the 2022 season.

The MSCA had their first race of the 2022 season on Sat 4/9. The race would see 18 cars hit the track in an action packed night on the famed 1/4 mile gumbo of Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis Arkansas - Tucker Boulton would lead the first heat to green and never looked back leading every lap and took the checkers followed Wesley Shepard and Hayden Brinkley rounding out the top three - the second heat race would see veteran and multi MSCA champion take the checkers from the 6th starting position followed by Keith Ainsworth and Dewayne White rounding out the top three. The feature lived up to the hype with Tucker Boulton and Eddie Gallagher leading the field to green on a very racy track. Tucker Boulton would lead the first few circuits when 1 Fast Eddie Gallagher would slip by Tucker Boulton and take the lead. Tucker Boulton followed Eddie Gallagher waiting on his chance to make a move for the lead - with four laps to go Tucker would make a bold slide job entering turn one slipping past Eddie and drive away to his first feature win of the year in the Jim Kinney owned Dr. Solar.US owned #6

revised schedule reflecting open wingless practice
Attention 305 drivers - The race on June 10th at Crowleys Ridge will be a wingless show - the response we had to make this a wingless show was overwhelming - this will be the first time in 10 years the wings have been off with the 305s
Trent has offered for us to have a open wingless practice session on May 28th. This is an open night for us and the only time a wingless practice could happen. This will allow the teams to have a practice without the wings before the big show - we want to thank Trent for his vision to bring back a wingless show for the 305s
More to come on how we will structure practice on the 28th - this will be a regular race night for the Ridge.
The MSCA sends out condolences and prayers to Billy Russ Jr and his family - Billy lost his mother last night - Billy has been a big supporter of the MSCA with his photos and friendship.

Another Big Jimmy Cup is in the books and what a night it was. Eddie Gallagher took a commanding lead into the final round at the famed Riverside International Speedway with 2nd place Tyler Newcom and 3rd place 13 year old rookie of the year leader old Brady Baker separated by 9 with Chad Jones 2 points back in 4th with Dewayne White within striking distance. After the heat races Eddie Gallagher took his lead into the feature with Tyler Newcom in 2nd place and Chad Jones and Brady Baker tied for 3rd with Dwayne White 1 point back in 4th. The feature would see a fierce battle between Andy McElhannon - Brad Bowden and Eddie Gallagher - who lead most of the race - with Chad Jones sneaking up through the field from his 8th starting position. After a late race caution Chad Jones would pass Eddie Gallagher coming off turn 4 for the win as Eddie ran out of fuel and finished second. Congratulations to Chad Jones on the feature win and Eddie Gallagher taking the Big Jimmy Cup Championship.
