Hey DeSoto County & Shelby County friends 👋

If you’ve got a kid who’s just getting into sports cards—maybe following after you or just starting their own collection—I’d love to help kick things off.

I’ve got an abundance of base cards that I’d like to give away to a few young collectors (I’m thinking maybe 12 or under but that's open. I just don't want an older kid thinking they're hitting a lick because that's not what this is. I want these winners to learn the differences between sets, inserts, players, and parallels without worrying spending much money...... YET). If they're like ME, they will spend a bunch, but have a great time doing it!

Here’s the plan:

🏀⚾🏈 I’ll be picking one winner per sport—Basketball, Baseball, and Football.

🎁 Each winner will get a BIG box of cards to start their collection. Who knows—they might even find a fun little surprise tucked in (Grade, Rookie, SSP, etc.).

How to enter:

Comment below with your child’s favorite sport and team.

Share a little about why they want to collect cards.

That’s it. No cost, no strings attached. Just a way to give back and hopefully spark a new hobby for some local kids.

I’ll close entries at 8 p.m. this Sunday, 9/21, then I’ll randomly choose one winner for each sport, and we’ll coordinate with parents to get the cards delivered.
