Grind City Volleyball Academy

After 13 amazing years, I have made the incredibly difficult decision to step back from coaching this season. Volleyball has been such a huge part of my life, and it’s hard to even put into words what this journey has meant to me.

Each and every player I’ve had the privilege of coaching has left a lasting impact on my heart. I’ve watched you grow, not just as athletes but as people, and I’m so proud of all you’ve accomplished. You are all forever a part of my life, and I will always cherish the memories we’ve made together on and off the court.

Coaching has changed me in ways I never could have imagined—it’s taught me patience, resilience, and the beauty of watching others chase their dreams. This decision hasn’t been easy, and it’s one that comes with a lot of uncertainty. My heart is heavy, but I hope this isn’t goodbye forever. I hope to return to the game that has given me so much.

I also want to take a moment to thank my former coaches, who inspired me, believed in me, and became the role models I always needed. Without you, I wouldn’t have been able to grow into the coach I am today. And to my assistant coaches—thank you for being by my side on this journey. Your dedication, support, and friendship have meant the world to me.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey with me. Your support, your trust, and your belief in me as a coach will never be forgotten.
