Friday nights used to feel different.

One TV.
One station everybody agreed on.
One aluminum tray dinner balanced carefully on your lap.

And somehow, that cherry cobbler in the corner was always hotter than the surface of the sun.

We burned our mouths every single time…
and still went right back for another bite.

Simple evenings.
Wood-paneled walls.
Families together in the same room.
No phones.
No scrolling.
Just dinner, laughter, and the glow of the television.

Those little moments never felt important back then.

Now they feel priceless.
