Meridian Flyers Flyers Athletic Association is a sports organization offering Junior High and High School level athletic programs to home school students in Meridian, MS and surrounding areas in an intentional Christian environment.

The season has begun. Next week we will have a couple of home games. Come out a support your 2026 Meridian Flyers Homeschool team. If you are interested in playing in the future come out to a game for free and introduce yourself to me Beau Bredow the manager of team and I can fill you in and answer your questions.

Because of the weather we are cancelling the assessments for Tuesday night. We will still host the Friday assessments from 6-8 at QV Sykes. If you are interested in playing, but can't make the assessments please text me 863-409-1014.

As we prepare for the upcoming season, we will have player assessments and meet the team practices on Nov. 11 & 14 at QV Sykes 6-8. If you plan to play, please show up for at least one practice; even better, be at both.

We have decided not to do an official tryout but to do the tryout through our practices over the next few weeks. If your son is still interested in playing and would like to come to practice to try out and show the coaches his abilities, I can add you to our GroupMe messaging group. You will see when there is practice. He will need to come to one before we have a parent meeting and decide who is on the team. I hope you are enjoying the off-season. We are still working out a get-to-know-the-coaches, try-out, and information date. We are looking at November. ⚾️ Meridian Flyers Baseball Team will have a fundraiser supporting the Center for Pregnancy Choices of Meridian for their March 14 home game at Q.V. Sykes Field at 5:00 & 7:00 pm.

⚾️ No gate fees in lue of your heartfelt donation to the CPC.

⚾️This will be a fun game for the players as both sides will have on home jerseys with pink or blue socks, sleeves, and gear to show support.

⚾️A representative from the Center will be on hand to answer questions and explain how else to support their ministry.

⚾️We ask for your prayers for this event and your support!

Another great practice in the books. 1 more on December 7th in Newton at the Evans Family indoor baseball complex. The season begins January 15th.

The Flyers are selling 4x8 sign banners! We would love to support your business by displaying your banner across the outfield fence. We play at QV Sykes park and the banners give you exposure during home games, social media of the flyers and those that support us, along with all the visitors that come to the park for our games, for Meridian High’s games and anything else going on there through the season. We greatly appreciate your support of homeschool baseball in the Meridian area!!
