UMS Racing EVO at Road Atlanta With Global Time Attack !

Crazy weekend of racing again, we got to run the UMS Racing Evo at Road Atlanta with Global Time Attack for the first time. The track is mental with the majority of the turns being blind and very fast! We lost 3rd gear the first day's sessions barely getting 2 laps in at speed to figure the track out. Our friends Grant and Mike at Professional Awesome helped us quickly swap out back up trans and we were ready for saturday.

Saturday was spent taking seconds off every session as we were slowly figuring the track out, We finished up in second place with a 1:31.103 with likely several seconds left out there in just getting more comfortable with the new suspension and the track. We have to give a shout out to our friends Travis, Taylor and Dale of Snail Performance for hauling half of our tires and spares out for us, and sharing tools, Krystal and co. for Towing the car out there and back. and of course all of our awesome sponsors Rockford Fosgate KSport USA BC Brian Crower, Continental Tire, Whiteline Flatout, WheelDude.com,

Global Time Attack at Road Atlanta is a wrap! We are driving home with a 2nd place trophy, and a fairly unscathed car! We had a great time out there, and was thankful the rain held out for all our sessions! Big thank you to all of our sponsors, family, and friends who help us make this dream a reality!

Well our weekend didn't go as planned. After a few teething issues with our new dash and tires, we got everything figured out halfway through the day. We threw on some sticker C91s and went out... only to discover a crack our transfer case... We got one timed lap in before it broke, a 1:48, good enough for 2nd place. We got some serious work to do on the Evo before Global Time Attack x Formula Drift at Road Atlanta in May. Big thanks to all our sponsors for their continued support as we continue to push this platform to the limits!

Welp, we're on our way back from Global Time Attack x Formula Drift at Road Atlanta! We had a great time with a lot of ups and downs. The short list of downs is: bad cam sensor, our new more aggressive brake pads were boiling our brake fluid, car fell of the jack, right front fender broke most of its mounts at 160+ mph, splitter mount broke and the splitter took a lot of damage. Now with all that said, here's the ups: Our team was able to fix every problem that we encountered to get us back on track! The car did amazing and was able to stay out for the whole session thanks to our new intercooler setup. Tony managed to secure 3rd place in Unlimited AWD with a time of 1:28.2! Big thanks to all the teams that came out! We have got a lot of work ahead of us, including fitting new body panels courtousy of AIT and Eleven's Paint and Fiber and maybe some new aero work if Paul is feeling frisky!

Wanted to say THANK YOU to Turn 14 Distribution and our rep Austin Kirk for pulling some major strings and getting us our new GSC Power-Division Billet Core Camshafts weeks before they have even been released.
