It was a great day building the Dave Bang Memorial Playground at Jefferson Park! Dave Bang Associates, a nationally recognized playground and recreation builder, selected the improvement project at Jefferson Park to honor the late founder and CEO, Dave Bang, by generously giving back to the community where he lived and worked for more than 40 years. Thank you to Dave Bang Associates and all the volunteers who came out to build this beautiful park for our wonderful community. There will be an official ribbon-cutting ceremony in April. Stay tuned!

My private school has just set up a slide from "P W MFG CO" (as it reads on each step of the ladder). It comes from our local public school, and our best guess is that it dates from 1925, when the old school was built, and then later moved to the new school in 1965, and now to my school (Whittenberg Country School) - ninety years on. So after my grandfather, father, and I played on it, now my kids will - and many others, probably for another ninety years. The slide is built like very few are today: heavy duty, solid metal.

If PW Athletic Manufacturing Company has any information on slides that it may have built from that era, we'd be interested in learning about it.

Our standard litter receptacle come manufactured from 2"x 4" recycled plastic planks with a steel frame construction. All receptacles are shipped with thirty-two-gallon removable plastic container and come standard with an in-ground support post. We offer lids in either a flat steel or domed plastic style, with powder coating available the flat steel lid.

We offer our planks in four colors: cedar, light gray, sand, and weathered wood. The steel frame is powder coated and available in a wide variety of colors. Our in-house powder coating finish process, allowing us to offer a high-quality process and outcome for a reduced rate, giving our customers assurance they are getting both the best product and the best price.
