You probably hadn’t heard of Kabra before one of these videos showed up. So here’s a quick introduction while I pack an order.

We make golf hats with a hidden magnetic brim, a really thick sweatband, and a fit we spent a lot of time getting right.

Your marker goes on either side of the brim, top or bottom. The sweatband is comfortable and absorbs a ton of sweat. And we worked on the shape so it wasn’t too tall or too shallow.

Those were things I wanted in a golf hat, so that’s what we focused on.

I can tell you all day that I think we make a really good golf hat.
I’m the founder. Of course I’m going to say that.
This is a little better.
These are actual reviews from people who bought the hat, wore it, and then took the time to come back and tell us what they thought.
Best hat they’ve owned. Best sweatband they’ve found. Better than hats they were already spending a lot more money on.
That stuff means a lot to me.

This is what buying a golf hat from my company actually looks like.
I still pack the orders myself. I still pick the hats off the shelf, box them up, print the labels and send them out.
I also spent a ridiculous amount of time before any of that figuring out the fit, materials, brim, magnets, sweatband... basically every little thing that goes into the hat.
Kabra is still a really small company. That means I wear a lot of different hats around here.
Pun unfortunately intended.

I’m never going to outspend the big golf brands.

I’m one guy. I pack the orders. I answer the emails. I shoot the videos. I do basically all of it.

So if we’re going to compete, the hat has to actually be really good.

That’s what I’ve tried to build.

Hidden magnetic brim so you can get rid of the clip. Super thick sweatband that soaks up a ton of sweat. Water-repellent exterior. A fit that isn’t too tall or too shallow and actually works for golfers.

I can’t win by spending more money than everybody else.

I can try to make a better hat.

Reviews like this are exactly why I wanted to make this hat in the first place.

John said he normally ruins hats after a couple weeks because he sweats so much. Salt stains everywhere.

He bought two of ours assuming he’d probably ruin one pretty quickly.

Instead, after wearing both a bunch, he said they still look brand new.

“This is my brand now.”

That’s a pretty awesome thing to read.

The thick double-layer sweatband and interior lining are there for a reason. They’re meant to manage the sweat before it ends up showing through the outside of the hat.

I can talk about it all day, but hearing it from someone who actually bought the hat and put it through the test means a lot more.

This is a pretty good way to explain what we mean by sweat-resistant.

Michael said his hat was wet when he finished, but it dried out without showing any signs of staining.

You’re still going to sweat. Your hat can still get wet. We’re not pretending otherwise.

The goal is to help it handle that sweat better, which is why the double-layer sweatband and interior lining matter so much.

Love hearing how these are holding up for people who are actually out there wearing them. Appreciate you sharing this, Michael.
