After 20 years focusing on the Frankies, we’re honored to be adding the first outside baby to the fold; an exceptionally bred KJ UP IN SMOKE filly!

It’s an honor to get to develop a filly from an admired bloodline like Steve.

Our goal now is to continue to develop that second/third generation of Frankies AND improve the Appaloosa breed by infusing the other GREAT lines in the Western Appaloosa performance World!

Wendy has officially found her person, and we couldn't be more excited about her future!

This exceptional 2026 dark bay filly has been sold to the amazing Frank Marley, and we truly believe she is headed exactly where she belongs. From the moment she hit the ground, Wendy has impressed us with her presence, athleticism, intelligence, and natural ability.

We're especially honored to see her joining Frank's program. As the former owner of the incredible stallion Some Kinda Shine, Frank has spent years around elite Appaloosa athletes and knows exactly what a talented App looks like. His eye for quality, performance, and potential is second to none, making this an exciting match for both horse and owner. Frank surely searched far and wide for the best to make the best.

With a pedigree packed with proven performers and generations of excellence behind her, we always believed Wendy had the potential to do great things. Now she'll have every opportunity to be developed to her fullest potential, and we cannot wait to watch her journey unfold.

Congratulations, Frank! Thank you for believing in this special filly. We are incredibly grateful for your trust and look forward to joining forces with our programs and cheering you both on in the years ahead.

We’ve mourned his year and now it’s time to move on.

Changed the photos in the phone. Put his pic up with the family in the proper, honored section.

Had this AMAZING artwork done with his papers; he was and always be my best friend and he was and will always be with me.

With the exception of the National Reining Breeders Classic memorial (because he ALWAYS be THAT Standard!), we will dedicate his page to his offspring; to the people and horses who believed in Frankie, supported Frankie and are a PART of Frankie.

We are moving on to the third generation now with little Francine and there’s no doubt with that pedigree, she’ll set an even higher standard all by herself.

I never wanted to breed horses; had my own personal horse show dreams and agenda. But then Frankie came into my life and I made it about the HORSE. The BREED. The people who generally had a passion for improving what we loved.

There were folks who asked me “is he LP/LP?” “Does he throw color?” “How many ApHC titles does he have?” “How many of his babies are in this/that class?”.

He was 15 before I knew his LP status.

I know everything he sires is an Appaloosa.

He never won an Appaloosa title, but he holds every NRHA competition record for an Appaloosa against NOTHING but MILLION DOLLAR Quarter Horses.

There’s usually only 1 or 2 of his babies showing at any given time BUT they usually win the class.

I noticed my Equi-Stat notifications were pinging more than usual these days; I couldn’t figure it out because I was focused on the Reiners and knew there were only one or two showing and when those shows were; it didn’t make sense!

Then I saw Swagger and Stich with the barrel racing.

Happy, Marley, Friendly with the roping.

Slik, Marley, Tater, Choppa with the Ranch riding, cow horse and cutting AND reining.

Ellie and Shiney with babies by million dollar sires.

Quattro, DoDat, and a couple I promised their owners I would allow to remain anonymous until they show up in the very near future and light up the National Reined Cow Horse Association and NRHA - National Reining Horse Association.

Best believe I will remind EVERYONE who their daddy/granddaddy is!

Rest in peace to the Appaloosa Reining GOAT and my best friend. Luv you forever!!!!

Finally got his head right and gonna get it done. Same process as Poppa.
