I’m just reading through a lot of my DMs about the black dress from that I think many of you thought I was wearing to my daughter’s wedding, but that was for the rehearsal/ welcome dinner the night before. I wore gold heels. And for the wedding , I wore a beaded gown from with silver snakeskin heels. I kept the jewelry simple.
My style is very minimalistic but my daughter chose the gown and I thought it was very Boca. In the end it was the perfect gown for the wedding. The black dress was also a good choice- it was at an Italian restaurant - fit the vibe.
Thank you for your help as always- I was struggling a bit with the gown because it was a print and so colorful for me. But in the end, it always works out- just need to always trust your gut.
In order to change your body composition from fat to fit or skinny to strong, you must feed your body. You will never grow muscle by starving yourself. Just look at all the unhealthy skinnies in Hollywood right now. These are post menopausal women who are starving themselves because they think being skinny looks sexy.
Now, maybe a woman in her 20s and 30s could pull off skinny with muscle mass because her hormones are balanced, generally speaking. However, as we age, our hormone levels drop- estrogen, testosterone, progesterone and thyroid- and we are left with an empty tank while still trying to do all the things we did in our 20s, 30s and early to mid 40s.
But we can’t because our tank is empty. Ever try driving a car without gas? It doesn’t move , and that’s exactly what’s happening with your body during this time. So what do you need?
You need to eat the right foods in the right portion sized at the right time for your activity level and goals. Next, you need to lift heavy with intent and consistency. Next, you need to check your markers to find out your hormone levels and work on getting them balanced and optimized so your tank is full.

As you’re getting your hormones at their optimal levels, start eating healthy and start lifting heavy. Do this for at least 12 weeks consistently.

You know what’s not sexy? Skinny, frail, undernourished.
Stop abusing GLP’s. Stop taking it to extremes. There’s nothing sexy about a woman who’s skins is falling off her arms and has loss her round ass to a 🥞
