IT’S FALL SEASON! We think these PUMPKIN SPICE CINNAMON ROLLS would pair GREAT with the amazing Abuela Mami coffee. The cinnamon rolls taste like a crispy fall morning. Let us know in the comments if you make this recipe.
INGREDIENTS
Pumpkin Spice Dough:
* 3/4 cup milk of choice, warmed for 45 seconds
* 1/2 cup brown sugar, light or dark, divided
* 2 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
* 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling), at room temperature
* 1/2 cup salted butter, very softened (almost melted)
* 1 egg, at room temperature
* 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
* 4 1/2 cups flour
* 1 tsp salt
* 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
* 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Filling:
* 1/2 cup salted butter, softened (not melted)
* 1 cup light brown sugar
* 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
* 1 tbsp cinnamon
* 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
* 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
* 1/2 cup heavy cream, for pouring over the rolls
Cream Cheese Frosting:
* 8oz (1 block) cream cheese, softened
* 1/4 cup salted butter, softened
* 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar
* 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
