On this day 50 years ago, our 14 founding fathers and two fraternal fathers gathered at Kean College (now Kean University) to officially create Lambda Theta Phi, Latin Fraternity Inc. Since then, we’ve gone on to inspire the ENTIRE Latin Greek movement, launch chapters at hundreds of colleges across the country and induct thousands of brothers who are still active to this day. Today, the Alpha Kappa chapter at FIU celebrates our 50th anniversary alongside our fellow brothers across the nation. Happy Founders Day!

The Alpha Kappa chapter of Lambda Theta Phi would like to thank everyone who attended our late brother Alex Serrano’s Celebration of Life on Sunday. Forest Lawn was full to capacity of people who came to pay their respects to Alex and support his wife Melissa and their three young children. Our brothers , and delivered beautiful eulogies to honor Alex’s legacy before his family, including his two sons, said goodbye to him.
