It doesn’t. You can outwork it, outrun it, schedule around it.. all it does is bury it deeper 🔥

What actually moved me forward was getting honest about what I was carrying. Bringing God the hurt I kept avoiding. Letting someone help me carry the weight instead of pretending I had it handled..

Making space for rest instead of adding another task to the list. And giving the pain my attention, not just a slot on my calendar..

Healing never came from doing more. It came from finally slowing down enough to face it.

I used to pray about certain women. She’s beautiful, she’s smart, she’s funny, she’s got a good hustle..

But she doesn’t love the Lord. She’s not submitted to Him..

And I’d tell myself, “but I can show her God. I can show her.”

I even prayed about it. “Lord, protect me from this. Give me revelation.”

And He did. He said, “Buddy, you can’t teach someone to surrender their heart to Me.”

That one sentence took the entire desire out of my heart. Because what I was calling a calling was actually pride..

You don’t get into a relationship to convert someone later. You end up with a person who doesn’t share your principles, doesn’t believe what you believe, and it turns toxic every time 🔥
