Smoothie Sunday!
I love making smoothies for a quick, on-the-go breakfast. This recipe makes two servings for me, so I have one for the next morning, too!
I use goat yogurt because I love the probiotic aspect and how it tastes, but regular plain or Greek yogurt can be used instead.
Blend together the following in a blender:
* 1 cup frozen mixed berries
* 1 cup plain goat yogurt
* 1/2 cup oat or almond milk
* Local honey to taste (optional)
* Dash ground cardamom and/or cinnamon

Don't underestimate the power of water exercise! Low-impact doesn't mean it's easy or doesn't do much, it just means it's easier on your joints.
Exercising in the water is a great way to improve cardio, help fat loss, increase muscle strength and flexibility along with the healing powers of being in water.
Try this quick and easy 6min pool workout and feel what I'm talking about:
90secs treading water
90secs noodle pikes (like in photo)
90secs jump twists holding noodle
90secs buttkicks
