- Continuing her run on the NASKA World Tour Sabrina Guy moved up an age division mid-season at this event for an increase in compition in preperarion for Pan Am's later this year.

- Making their debut's to the World Tour both Geulius & Gerald Cornish were able to place, taking 3rd out of 16 (10/11 Inter. Sparring) & 3rd out of 16 (12/13 Inter. Sparring).

Congratulations to Team Lil' Bitz for holding their own inside the Ritchie Coliseum today at the "2017' Youth Capitol Classics."

Making their tournament returns Geulius & Gerald Cornish were able to cruise through their Sparring Divisions, both defeating multiple opponents to remain undefeated & take home Gold Medal's.

Sabrina Guy successfully defended her Triple Crown Title from last years Classics winning 1st Place in Sparring, CMX Weapons & Traditional Forms... then went on to claim the 11 & under Weapons Grand Championship....

* With today's victory in sparring Sabrina Guy is now currently Ranked #1 on the 2017' NASKA National Leaderboard (9 & under Girls Sparring) w/ 2,000 total points accumulated so far this season.

TOURNAMENT UPDATE:

Stepping in last minute after almost a year away from the tournament scene, undefeated Tournament Champ's Geulius & Gerald Cornish III will be heading to the Ritchie Coliseum tomorrow morning looking to bring home the Gold. Though inactive since last years Maryland Victory Cup both brothers have been regularly involved w/ Team Lil' Blitz inside the gym becoming two of Sabrina Guy, Alison & Blake Hughes primary sparring partners over there last handful of tournaments.

Congratulations to Sabrina & Jimmy Guy for kicking off Team Lil' Blitz's run w/ the Breaking Divisions at the "34th Annual Battle of Baltimore". The competition came to win w/ every competitor in all 5 divisions succesfully completing every break attempt througout the night!

Officially starting the tournament as this years first competitor Jimmy Guy made his breaking debut in the 12 & under Beg/Inter Division going on to win 2nd Place only .2 pts behind the Champion.... & moving up to the 12 & under Advanced Division to avoid competing against her little brother Sabina Guy put on a strong performance scoring a 9.9 from all 3 judges for her three breaks to take home the 2016' Title Belt!

Good Luck to everyone tomorrow as the tournament gets into full gear w/ the Weapons, Forms and Sparring Divisons & be sure if your not competiting to come out & support the team at one of our last events of the season!
