🎉 IT’S OUR CEO’S BIRTHDAY! 🎂🐴

Today we’re celebrating our Founder & CEO, Samantha Edgin, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by supporting something that means so much to her — The Adaptive Riding Program, Inc.

Instead of gifts, we’re asking our friends, families, clients, and community to help us celebrate by making a birthday donation to ARP.

Whether it’s $5, $10, $25, $50 or more, every donation adds up and helps us continue providing adaptive horseback riding and horsemanship opportunities to individuals in our community.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF CHARITY | SEPTEMBER 5

Today, on International Day of Charity, we celebrate the incredible people who believe in the mission of The Adaptive Riding Program, Inc.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is to make horses, horsemanship, and adaptive equestrian opportunities accessible to individuals of all abilities.

Every donation large or small helps us continue providing a safe, supportive environment where our participants can build confidence, independence, strength, communication, and connection through horses.

Your support helps provide:
Care for our incredible program horses
Adaptive riding and horsemanship opportunities
Specialized equipment and program resources
Support for individuals with disabilities and their families
Opportunities for our adaptive athletes
Continued growth of programs within our community

But charity isn’t only about giving financially.

It’s the volunteer who gives their time.
It’s the business that donates a service or supplies.
It’s the person who shares our fundraiser.
It’s the family who believes in our mission.
It’s every person who chooses to help make an opportunity possible for someone else.

That is what keeps our program moving forward.

On International Day of Charity, we simply want to say THANK YOU to every donor, volunteer, sponsor, family, business, and community member who has supported The Adaptive Riding Program.

We are still growing. We are still building. And there is so much more we hope to accomplish.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE Trail Twαts!

We want to give an incredibly special thank you to the Trail T***s group for choosing The Adaptive Riding Program, Inc. as their monthly pledge and fundraising organization for August!

Not only did this amazing group come together to support our mission, but they raised the most money they have ever raised for one of their monthly organizations and generously donated it to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit!

On behalf of everyone here at The Adaptive Riding Program our riders, families, volunteers, staff, and horses we are incredibly grateful and honored to receive this donation.

Support like this directly helps us continue providing adaptive riding, horsemanship, and equine-assisted opportunities to individuals in our community. Every fundraiser, donation, share, and person who chooses to believe in what we do helps us continue moving our mission forward.

Did you know we offer Equestrian Vaulting as part of The Adaptive Riding Program?

We are so excited to bring this incredible opportunity to our riders through the guidance of our PATH Intl. Certified Vaulting Instructor, whose knowledge, encouragement, and passion have made such a positive impact on our students.

Vaulting combines movement, balance, strength, coordination, and horsemanship in a fun, supportive environment. We’ve already watched students gain confidence, build new skills, and discover abilities they never knew they had.

Watching our riders step outside their comfort zones, celebrate their accomplishments, and unlock new possibilities has been truly inspiring. Every smile, every milestone, and every success reminds us why we do what we do.

At The Adaptive Riding Program, we believe every individual deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and experience the life-changing connection between horses and people. 🎉 One Year of Changing Lives 🎉

In the middle of lesson plans, horse care, Special Olympics practices, volunteer coordination, and celebrating the accomplishments of our incredible riders, we realized something important…

March 19, 2026 marked The Adaptive Riding Program’s first official year as a nonprofit organization.

What an amazing first year it has been.

What started as a dream to make horses accessible to individuals of all abilities has grown into a community filled with courage, compassion, determination, and hope. In just one year, we have had the privilege of watching riders gain confidence, find their voices, build strength, create meaningful connections, and achieve goals they once thought were out of reach.

We’ve celebrated milestones big and small, cheered on our athletes at Special Olympics, welcomed new families, expanded our programs, and continued working toward making adaptive horsemanship accessible to everyone who needs it.

None of this would have been possible without our incredible students, dedicated families, volunteers, donors, community partners, and the amazing horses who give so much of themselves every single day.

We may be a little late in celebrating, but our gratitude is endless. Thank you for believing in our mission and trusting us to walk alongside you on this journey.

Happy first anniversary to The Adaptive Riding Program! Here’s to all we’ve accomplished in year one and to the many lives we’ll continue to impact in the years ahead.

Kaitlyn is not only one of our incredible instructors at The Adaptive Riding Program, but she is also a true blessing to our farm family. Her dedication, compassion, patience, and love for our riders, horses, and community make a difference every single day.
