Why in season training is important!
Maintaining strength and power:
The time has come to show off all of the hard work you put in during the offseason! You can lose strength, speed, and explosiveness quickly once training stops. In-season training helps preserve the gains made in the off-season so athletes stay at peak performance.
Long Term Development:
Seasons can be long, and stopping training means months of potential lost development. In-season training ensures athletes continue progressing year after year instead of resetting every off-season.
Prevents injuries:
Consistent strength training keeps the body resilient through the demands of practices and games. Proper in-season training balances muscle groups and addresses weaknesses that competition alone won’t fix.
The key is adjusting the volume and intensity—in-season training should complement competition, not fatigue the athlete. The goal isn’t to hit personal records but to maintain, fine-tune, and keep the body durable and explosive.

Annika J has been as consistent an athlete as any we’ve had. A brief explanation of the characteristics that Annika displays include: extremely gifted, hard working, coachable, focused, kind and faith first .
Annika’s schedule is as busy as anybody but she understands the big picture! She isn’t afraid to get a lift in and then go and knock out 18 holes of golf afterwards (sometimes vice versa). Her grit and determination to get better is shown when she shows up after a softball game to get her training session in while still wearing her team’s uniform.
We are sooo excited for Annika’s future because we know that she is not looking to take any shortcuts and she is all ears when it comes to taking critique! Annika, we are your biggest fans and we can’t wait to watch you succeed at whatever you put your hand and heart to!

Why detailed coaching matters!
If you are an athlete that is constantly looking 👀at finding ways to get better than you must get in the details! 🕵️♂️🕵️♂️Detailed coaching ensures each set, rep and workout is performed with purpose, maximizing progress! 📈
We want you to make sure that you are reaching your true potential!🚀 This means that we must give you a road map🗺️ on where to go! Coaching proper technique ensures the right muscles are targeted and that we are accomplishing what we want from the exercise.
Detailed coaching keeps an athlete locked in and focused on execution!🫡 Going through the motions won’t get you the progress you are looking for. A coach that fosters discipline and commitment to the process will be a light 🔦to the path you must travel!

This feature Friday is long over due for Ellie🙌🏼. We couldn’t be more excited about the direction that Ellie is headed! She is not only a leader in the training sessions but outside of them also!
Ellie’s speed and strength have really started to take off 📈as of late and that is because of her consistency and dedication to show up even amidst her very busy schedule!
Some of Ellie’s accomplishments include:
-Fly 10- 1.28 (top 3 - 13 year old female athletes at ETS West Madison)
-Iso Metric Mid Thigh Pull (Total Body Strength Test)- 399lbs (in 83rd percentile of 13 year old girls)
Ellie’s potential is limitless and we believe that she is only starting her ascent! She has been a leader in the way that she carries herself and is always excited and eager to learn more! Ellie has also been extremely committed to showing up to FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) sessions at ETS during the school year and inviting others to join!
Ellie, we are so proud of the person and athlete you are becoming! Stay locked in and enjoy every moment of the climb!

Competition Matters!
Whether you’re competing in your sport, competing during sprints or competing in the weight room, COMPETITION MATTERS!
