We lost another member yesterday. Brian Liddicoat passed away on 5/24 surrounded by his family.

His funeral will be Saturday, May 30th at Gunderson Funeral Home on Monona Dr. from 2pm - 4pm. Due to social distancing guidelines, no more than 50 people will be allowed in at a time. People can hang out responsibly outside until people leave.

Brian played for the Cavs from 2000-2006 and again in 2008 on the Cavs 2nd HTL Championship Team.

Happy Friday!!! Just a reminder...the Cavs are hosting the Blanchardville Bullets on Sunday at 1pm in the Western Section Championship game. Expecting a large crowd, lawn chairs suggested. Bullets first appearance in finals since 1994.

We are headed to the Home Talent League Final Four!

On Sunday, we will host Cross Plains at 1pm.
9/2 we are at Cottage Grove
9/9 we are at Evansville

*** UPDATE ***

The CAVS defeated Ashton 4-0 behind a 3-hit shutout from Kyle Nelson.

Due to a 3-way tie with two other teams, there was a random draw for a bye straight to the championship.

The CAVS selected Quinn Thompson, a fan, to draw our fate. Boy, did he ever come through. Quinn pulled "bye" out of the envelope to put the CAVS straight into the TITLE game on September 27th.

We will play the winner of Fort Atkinson and Ashton.

If Ashton wins, the championship game will be held in Verona. If Fort wins, the game will be played in Fort.

We are seeking two volunteers to help Ashton with the gate as "ticket takers"...your job would be to collect admission until about the 4th inning (would still be able to watch the game). We split the gate with Ashton so it is very beneficial to us to have volunteers. If we do not, Ashton will simply get 100% of the gate, which will be well into the $1,000+ category.

If interested, please let us know. You will be rewarded in some way.
