I am still sore, but two days ago Colin and I ground seven stumps and removed two bushes and four bush root systems. $150 rental compared to the almost $1000 estimate. I’ll be recovering all week but this is a win in my book.

Refrigerator pickles and piña colada zucchini bread from my garden. All three watermelon varieties are coming in strong too! Can you tell I get my seeds from swaps? 😂 So far we have nine total watermelons.

Yesterday had me feeling insanely lucky. From playing hooky and seeing the Barbie movie with friends, to reading by the pool with friends and finally tunes by the tridge with friends (before we were rained out, which we all found exhilarating). Our soft start of school has me so excited for this year and all the fun things we will explore with the kids. I cannot wait to meet my students for the semester. I love the direction our co op is taking this year as well. We still have 3 more weeks of summer but bring it on fall! We are ready ❤️❤️❤️ **picture included for those of you who don’t know what a “tridge” is.***
