We are so proud of both teams for their hard work and determination. While we walked away without the win, the real highlight was the heart and sportsmanship shown on both courts.

What a day at the District Tournament! 🎾

Determination was on full display, emotions were high, and the way these athletes showed up for one another was incredible. The bond, encouragement, and support this team has for each other is something really special to watch. So proud of the fight and heart they brought to the courts today.

Our hearts are heavy as we remember Megan Johnson, “Coach J,” the beloved wife of our assistant tennis coach. Megan was a light to so many. A devoted wife, loving mother, and someone who always supported our team with kindness and encouragement.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Coach Johnson and their sons as they walk through this unimaginable loss. The LHS Tennis family is wrapping them in love and support, and we will continue to honor Megan’s memory in the way we show up for one another.

Mrs. Megan Johnson, a dedicated teacher on our campus, wife of our assistant tennis coach, Coach Johnson, and proud mom to two Rebel athletes is facing a challenging season right now.

As a program, we believe in showing up for each other. Whether through encouragement, support, or simply letting the Johnson family know they are not alone, we want them to feel the strength of this community standing behind them.

These two not only work tirelessly to help our kids grow on the court, but they pour just as much heart into helping them grow as people. They care deeply about every single player and push them to become the best humans they can be.

They truly are the glue that holds our Rebel Tennis family together, and we are so grateful for their leadership, dedication, and love for our kids.
