The man who made it possible for not just our Dirt Devils, but for every little kid with a dream.

Tommy, your impact reached far beyond the baseball field. You believed in these players, encouraged them, and helped create memories they’ll carry with them for years to come.

Between the loud parents, the grumpy coaches and the never ending schedule change requests, you knew what mattered most. The kids. The game. The dreams.

Thank you for everything you gave to the game and to our baseball family. You will be deeply missed, but your legacy will live on in every kid who steps onto that field. 🕊️⚾️

⚾🥎 MIDLAND BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL PARENTS—REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! 🥎⚾

Rogue Athletics Academy is now accepting registrations for two small-group baseball and softball development programs beginning October 5!

Each group is limited to only five athletes, allowing every player to receive focused coaching, quality repetitions, and individual attention.

🔹 ROGUE FOUNDATIONS
Mondays | 6:00–7:00 PM

Designed for beginning and developing baseball and softball players. No previous playing experience is required.

Athletes will work on:

* Throwing and catching fundamentals
* Hitting mechanics and consistent contact
* Fielding and basic defensive movement
* Speed, agility, coordination, and athletic movement
* Game rules, positioning, and overall game knowledge
* Confidence, focus, and proper practice habits

🔹 ROGUE INTERMEDIATE DEVELOPMENT
Mondays | 7:00–8:00 PM

Designed for baseball and softball players with experience who are ready for more challenging, faster-paced development.

Athletes will work on:

* Hitting mechanics, timing, and quality contact
* Fielding footwork, glove work, and throwing accuracy
* Speed, agility, strength, and athletic movement
* Game situations and decision-making
* Competitive repetitions and stronger training habits

📅 Programs begin October 5
⏱️ 90-day commitment
👥 Only five athletes per group
📍 Rogue Athletics Academy

These are not drop-in clinics. Registration reserves your athlete’s position for the full 90-day development program, providing the consistency needed to build real progress.

At the end of the program, each athlete’s development will be reviewed, and parents will receive a recommendation for the appropriate next step.

Have you ever thought about coaching a baseball team but didn’t know where to begin? Maybe you understand the game, enjoy working with young athletes, and have the passion to lead—but you’ve never been a head coach.

That’s okay. We can help you take that next step!

The West Texas Dirt Devils are searching for a dependable, invested, and coachable person to become the head coach of our 8U team. We don’t just develop athletes—we help develop coaches and leaders, too.

You will receive hands-on training and ongoing mentorship from experienced coaches who have worked with athletes from 7U through 14U. We will help you learn:

⚾ How to create organized practice plans
⚾ How to structure and run productive practices
⚾ Pregame routines and player preparation
⚾ Game strategy and in-game decision-making
⚾ Player development and teaching fundamentals
⚾ Team structure, discipline, and accountability
⚾ The responsibilities of leading a competitive team

You will also have access to practice fields and training space, along with a mentor who can guide you through practices, games, and the challenges that come with leading a team.

Head-coaching experience is not required. Experience as an assistant coach is a plus, but what matters most is that you are dependable, committed, willing to learn, and ready to build a highly competitive team.

West Texas Dirt Devil Nation could not be prouder of this 10U team!

For the past two years, these athletes have worked relentlessly to improve their skills, strengthen their teamwork, develop leadership, and become better competitors—and the results continue to speak for themselves. For the second year in a row, this team has earned the #1 ranking!

We understand that not everyone will support what we are building. Some will criticize our standards, question our methods, or try to tear down our organization. That is okay. We are not here to win everyone’s approval—we are here to develop young athletes, teach accountability, and push these boys to become the best players, teammates, and young men they can be.

While others talk, our athletes keep working. While others doubt, they keep proving themselves. Rankings are earned, not given—and as they say, the proof is in the pudding.

Congratulations, boys! Stay humble, stay hungry, and keep working. The mission is far from finished. 😈⚾🔥

The West Texas Dirt Devils are expanding! We are searching for dedicated head coaches to lead our new 7U and 8U baseball teams for the Spring 2027 season.

Throughout the remainder of this fall, our athletes will focus on building strong fundamentals, developing confidence, learning the game, and preparing to compete in the spring.

We are looking for head coaches who:

⚾ Love teaching and developing young athletes
⚾ Lead with patience, energy, and accountability
⚾ Believe in effort, teamwork, and character
⚾ Want to help build something special from the ground up

We are also accepting players for both teams! If you have a 7U or 8U athlete who is ready to learn, work hard, and become part of the Dirt Devils family, message us today. Roster spots are limited and expected to fill quickly!

West Texas Dirt Devils 10U AA are the CHAMPS of the gold bracket🥇

These boys went 4-0 on the weekend and battled through an absolutely beautiful championship game.
6 full innings. Huge competition. All the energy.
