Great Lakes Bay Gus Macker

After another wonderful year at the Great Lakes Bay Gus Macker tournament in Midland, we want to take one more opportunity to acknowledge the people, organizations and partners who come together to bring the event to life!

Thank you to The Legacy Center for Community Success and Northwood University for putting on the event and hosting.

Thank you to all the committee members and staff that spent months planning every little detail.

Thank you to the hundreds of volunteers who worked the games, registration, maintenance and more to make the event run smoothly.

Thank you to all our officials, the trainers and EMS teams and the Gus Macker National staff that worked so hard to make the games fun, fair and safe.

Thank you to the players and families that brought the energy and atmosphere to the event.

And thank you to our sponsors and supporters that allow us to put the ‘fun’ in fundraising for the programs and services of The Legacy Center for Community Success!

That’s a wrap on the 2026 Great Lakes Bay Gus Macker Tournament, presented by The Legacy Center for Community Success and hosted at Northwood University!

The final buckets have been made, the trophies handed out, and an incredible weekend of basketball is officially in the books.

Now it’s time to pack up the hoops and send them down the road to the next Macker. 🏀
