Midway Equine students recently welcomed David O’Connor, 2000 Olympic eventing gold medalist and Chief of Sport for US Equestrian, for a conversation about horse welfare and the future of the industry.

From defining animal welfare to building public trust, O’Connor challenged students to think critically about their role in protecting horses and shaping the industry.

Thank you, David, for sharing your experience and insight with our students!
