This week, the MSAT Class of 2026 proudly crossed the stage and officially earned their diplomas. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and cannot wait to see the impact they make in their future careers. Wishing this outstanding group nothing but success in their next chapter. This week, two of our students were recognized by the School of Health & Human Performance for their exceptional clinical and academic achievements in the Master of Athletic Training Program. 🩺 🏃
Hunter Martin was honored as the Outstanding Second Year MS Athletic Training Student, and Maddie Franz received the Outstanding First Year MS Athletic Training Student award.🏅🏅

We also want to recognize Andrew Shivers, one of our dedicated preceptors from Baldwin County High School, for being named Preceptor & Clinical Site of the Year! 🩺🏆

We are incredibly proud of each of these individuals and all they continue to accomplish! 💚💙🐾

Some of our first-year students had the opportunity to attend the Art Healthy Festival at GCSU, where they gave back to the community while serving as part of the first aid team.

2026 Immersion ⭐️

Nia Battle is at Augusta working with a multitude of sports. She says

“I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to work with the Athletics department and Athletic Trainers at Augusta University . It’s a great feeling to be able to give back to my Alma Mater and build upon my knowledge that I attained here during undergrad and apply what I learned here and at GCSU together.  Being able to make new connects outside of Middle Georgia with athletes, ATs , and physicians  here at AU and within the Richmond County / WellStar system has been amazing.

Nikki Blake is completing her immersion ay Spalding high school. She says

“I am thoroughly enjoying my experience at Spalding High School. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with a diverse range of sports and athletes, allowing me to hone my skills as an aspiring athletic trainer. The knowledge and guidance I have received from my preceptor have significantly enhanced my confidence and decision-making abilities. I am excited for what the remainder of the semester will bring.
