Kudos to the 12 Millington Wrestlers for earning a spot on the Daily Memphian Division 1 All Metro Team, a remarkable achievement that surpasses all other teams in West TN. Derrick Bolden and Eli Whitby also made the TWSA All State Wrestling Team for their impressive 4th place finishes. Exceptional job!

Tomorrow the Girls Section 4 tournament wrestling starts at 4 pm

Saturday the Boys Section 4 tournament wrestling starts at 9 am.

The top four placers in each weight class will advance to the TSSAA State Individual Championship next week in Franklin TN. Your Millington Wrestlers have had 10 wrestlers advance to the state tournament each year for the past 3 years while also winning the Section 4 championship the last two years. This year they will be competing for their 3rd consecutive Section 4 Championship. Hope to see you there!

Millington Wrestling is at it again at Region 8 Girls Tournament here at Collierville High School. With only one wrestler out of the tournament so far the girls have solidified 7 spots in the Girls Section 4 tournament Friday at Millington. We have four girls in the region championship finals and three girls in the consolation finals. These girls are on fire today!

These guys have faced so much adversity this year but it has done nothing but make them better.

Today this group of fine young men battled to become the first team in the history of Millington Wrestling to have 14 TSSAA Region 8 Individual Champions! Not only did they take 1st place at every weight class they dominated by winning every match by pin.

It was and will always be an amazing accomplishment that can never be taken away from this team. They are an amazing group and I am so glad to get to be a small part of their lives. Go Trojans, GATA!

Your Millington Wrestling Team was able to secure its third consecutive TSSAA Dual Region Championship last night by defeating the Brighton Cardinals 76-6. Today at noon they will be hosting the Fairview Yellow Jacket for the Sectional dual and a change to go to the TSSAA State Dual Championship for the third year in a row. Let’s pack the gym and help them punch their ticket to the State Tournament again. Wrestling starts at Noon in the main gym! Go Trojans.

Tonight’s Millington Wrestling Black and Gold/ Alumni night was another success. It just keeps getting bigger and it was great to see all the Alumni wrestlers show up and support this team. The Trojan Elite wrestlers were a great addition to the night. Thank you to all that showed up. It was a great night and we can’t thank you enough!

Come out to the Millington Wrestling Gym tomorrow night , Tuesday Dec 30 at 6 pm for our annual Black and Gold Inter-squad match and Alumni night. It’s always a great time.
