A short video of some of the steps to making a quilt. Often it seems that there is more measuring, cutting, pressing, trimming and organizing than there is sewing. This is only a small portion of the steps that go into making this quilt because even a 80x speed, the video would be an hour long if it was all in here. The quilt pattern is "Dreaming" by Laundry Basket Quilts.

Check out this awesome memory quilt! This young man’s Mom outdid herself, again! (I recently made a quilt for his sister too.) She saved all these pieces for years with this in mind. Such a wonderful way to preserve memories. I really enjoyed making this one, it let me work with a couple of not so flat, but totally fun pieces.

This quilt was a blast to make! 17 years of memories in one place for a young lady who is about to graduate! Her mom saved all of these memories for this purpose. Talk about long range planning! Good job Mom!
