We are so proud of this boy! He digs deep and never gives up. The 65 is a new beast to him but he has plenty of time to grow on this bike! Super proud of you boy! Keep up the hard work.

RACE RECAP — SDTA SERIES
It was a LONG, HOT day at the track, and Charlie Boy had to dig deep and put in the work!

He brought home a P2 in the 50cc class and we’re proud of the fight he put in!
The 65cc class was a little tougher today. Charlie Boy finished 5th, and he definitely wasn’t happy with that result. But that’s racing — and more importantly, he knows exactly what he needs to work on.

The 65 is still a learning process. There’s a lot of new things to figure out on this bike, and the only way to get there is more seat time, more practice, and more work.

We’ll take the lessons from today, get back to work, and come back stronger. 💪🔥

THIS IS WHAT FLAT TRACK IS ALL ABOUT

This weekend, Austin Davis came through for us in a BIG way, and we honestly can’t thank him enough.
Everest’s KTM 50 broke, and just like that, it looked like he wasn’t going to be able to race his class. We were trying to figure out what we were going to do when Austin stepped up.
He went and got his son’s bike — a bike that had never even been raced, but was already set up for flat track — and brought it all the way back to the track so Everest would have a bike to race.
That kind of generosity means more to us than we can put into words. ❤️
Austin didn’t have to do that. He simply saw a young racer who needed a chance to get on the track and made it happen.
And Everest went out there and made the most of that opportunity, bringing home a P2 finish on a bike he had never ridden before and, most importantly, getting the points he needed for the series.

That is what flat track family is all about.
It’s the people who step up when things go wrong.
The people who lend a hand when you need it most.
The people who want to see the next generation succeed.

We are incredibly thankful for Austin Davis and his family for taking care of our grandson and making sure Charlie Boy got to do what he loves. 🏁❤️

🏆 2026 SDTA 50cc Champion 🏆

What a season it's been.

From the first starting line to the final checkered flag, Everest Lunsford AKA Charlie Boy showed what hard work, dedication, and determination can accomplish. Countless hours of practice, long weekends on the road, and a never-give-up attitude led to this moment.

At such a young age, Everest has proven that champions aren't just born—they're built through grit, discipline, and the support of an amazing racing family.

Thank you to everyone who supported him throughout the season. This championship belongs to every sponsor, family member, coach, friend, and fan who believed in him along the way.

🏁 LOCKED IN & READY TO RACE 🏁
Kidwell Racing is proud of Charlie Boy and everything he has accomplished so far this season. Through the hard work, long practice days, and determination, he has earned his spot at the top.
Going into the June 13th race, Charlie Boy is officially locked into 1st place in the Overall Points Standings! 🏆

Now it's time to stay focused, keep working, and finish the season strong. We couldn't do it without the support of our family, friends, sponsors, and everyone who follows along on this journey.

Charlie Boy has been putting in the work, turning laps, building confidence, and getting faster every time he throws a leg over the bike. We're excited to see him back on the track chasing checkered flags and making memories.🏁
