Volunteers with Bike Alpharetta refurbish gently-used bikes & build new bikes for North Fulton Community Charities' Toyland on ONE DAY each December.
In 19 years, 5,747 bikes/trikes have been made Santa Ready! New helmets are provided as well. Our Story:
In 2006 the Mullenbach Family in Johns Creek volunteered to be Santa's helpers at the North Fulton Community Charities Santa Shop where they provide holiday gift support for over 900 families. That year they ran out of bicycles. In 2007, the Mullenbach's collected 65 bikes in one neighborhood.

How do we ring in a new year? Celebrating BIG numbers from the 19th annual Bikes For Kids of course!
Lots of fresh tires, saddles, brake cables, streamers and handmade cards adorning nearly 300 bikes to make Santa's job a little easier! Most went to North Fulton Community Charities while another 16 that still needed a little work were provided to Pedal Forward. We made sure each bike was gifted with a new helmet, as safety is a priority for Bike Alpharetta

Santa flew by to see how we were doing yesterday. He was quite impressed with the operations.
We had 120 volunteers and more than 310 bikes were made Santa-Ready in our ONE day massive elf workshop! Thanks everyone!!!! Now, one more day for final prep and moving to Toyland.

Moving Day!!! 300-plus bikes (final count Saturday) set up for building, cleaning, repairing and inspections for our Domestique Day - annual Bikes For Kids community project to provide holiday gifts (yes, all free) to Toyland for North Fulton Community Charities
Thanks to TWO MEN AND A TRUCK who provided two crews and our incredible volunteers- covering floors, rolling bikes, moving boxes of parts for repairs, and rolling more bikes!

BIG donation of bikes from our friends
North Georgia Cylinder & Hydraulic, Inc in cu***ng, ga - 48 bikes and one helmet !! Most bikes new and they collected gently-used one from family and neighbors over several months! A BIG effort for a company run by Sam and a handful of employees- so awesome!! Looking forward to getting these to Toyland
