This season Squad Athletics, LLC really wanted to bring people on that had a heart for Black Men and their overall health.
Specifically Men that we care about.
This season we Welcome Harry Evans of He Trains. And He Trains: The Mental.

With 9 years as a fitness professional under him, his role this season is to provide a space for our Squad Athletes to have an on site physical and mental advocate. His initiative is to integrate pre game and post game cardiovascular fitness, as well as creating a environment that encourages male dialogue centered around Black Men’s Mental health.

Squad Athletics Basketball League focus, is to join with He trains. And He Trains: The Mental to encourage black men to come together to be each other’s shoulder to lean on, seek mental healing through therapy and help to become better, fathers, husbands, and better men.

Again, We Welcome him to the Team. 💪🏾💪🏾

Was just a dream, I had spent 7 years working to help others with their dreams and vision for Recreational Sports. Giving of my time and ideas because I always want the best for my peers.

Basketball has been my comfort since I was introduced to it in the 3rd Grade, at Washington High Schools Summer Rec program where my mom signed me up Millicent Tucker
It was that day that I fell in love with the sport and it has been intertwined in my life in someway ever since.

Last year after nights of dreaming about a league of my own I decided to get my LLC! It’s was November of 2019. Then my mission and vision statement followed.

But it was literally Chris Here who spoke life into my dream, was there through all the ups and the downs of the process literally supporting me, financially, mentally, and physically never leaving my side. He sees every layer of this process the things nobody sees.

I just really want to put on for my Family which is the Basketball family the Athletes in the Rec community and the lovers of the game. I love the guys because they rock with me, they answer every phone call, every Text. They extend themselves to me when I need. That’s why I go hard and I bring things to the table because we all in it together making this league great!!! It’s nothing like the feeling of Sports and how it brings us together.

Thank you, everyone tagged has been there for me in one way or another and I’m so blessed to experience this first round with y’all! ❤️🏀
