This Sunday, April 27, we'll be doing an urban hike along Lake Michigan and downtown Racine. Please note that parts of Main Street in Racine are under construction but this should not affect either parking or the hike.

Meet at 1:30 pm in the parking lot one block west of the Racine Zoo, 2131 N. Main St. (Walton Avenue & North Wisconsin). Hike is a bit over 5 miles: south along the Lake Michigan lakefront and back up Main Street in Racine, mostly on pavement. Hike from 1:45 to 3:45 pm. Guests and friends welcome!

The club will be hiking on Easter Sunday at Loew Lake Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. Meet at 1:30 pm at the Monches/Hwy K parking lot located past Q (Cty Line Rd) and Cty Hwy E (about 10 minutes north of Hartland) on Cty Hwy E.

From there, we'll travel to Emerald Dr to the parking lot of the trail, just before Shamrock Lane. Hike from 2-4 pm. We will hike rain or shine. Moderate level of hiking with hills, gravel, grass, mulch and pavement. Guests and friends welcome!

Just us this Sunday, April 13, for our weekly hike; this time at Glacier Hills County Park. Meet at 1:30 pm at the main building parking lot. Restrooms are open. Friends and guests welcome!

Drive north on 41/45 to Hwy 167 west (Holy Hill Road). Go west to the road that leads to Fox & Hounds, then go left (south) to the park entrance. Daily entrance fee is $7. Pre-pay online or get a mail-in envelope at the entrance.

This will be a moderate-level hike: hilly, with gravel, grass, pavement and mulch trails. It may be muddy, so wear appropriate footwear. Bring your hiking poles, if you have them. We will hike from 1:45 to 3:45 pm.
