Congratulations Mike and Root Shoot!
What would we do without this guy?
A huge shout out to our malthouse manager, Mike Myers, on having just completed his 400th (!) batch of malt!
To put that in perspective, that's 8 million pounds of malting barley that have gone through our system under his watch (plus a bunch of wheat, rye, and other goodness as well!) Doing some back-of-the-napkin math, we figure Mike here is personally responsible for roughly 24 million pints of beer.
A noble cause to dedicate oneself to, indeed. And Mike is nothing if not dedicated: under his malthouse management, we've won 4 craft malting medals making us the only malthouse - nationally or internationally - to do so.
This one's for you, Mike! Actually...the next 24 million or so beers are for you!
