What a 1st 6 months of training with Mile To Marathon it's been for our Denver based Val Luutran. Following is her testimonial.
1: I started looking for a run coach after seeing my race results start to plateau. I thought I could be fitter/more capable than what I was showing on race day, so I wanted to find someone who could help me get there!
2/3: I have equally appreciated the physical and mental gains Iβve made working with Mile To Marathon. I am not only racing faster and feeling stronger in my training runs, but I am also far more confident in myself! Paces and courses that felt daunting or totally out of reach before now feel like achievable challenges, and Iβve enjoyed setting even bigger goals with Coach Ronβs encouragement. I have PRd my marathon, half marathon, and 10K in less than 6 months of coaching, and I think so much of it has come from the mental aspect of working with a coach!
4: If someone was on the fence, I would repeat the gains I shared above, but I would also emphasize how affordable Mile to Marathon is. As a teacher who also enjoys other hobbies, it was hard to justify spending an arm and a leg on a run coach. I looked at a lot of other coaching options with extremely high rates, many of which did not even offer the level of communication and individualized coaching that Mile to Marathon does. The value of coaching, considering how involved and communicative Coach Ron is for the monthly rates, is honestly one of the things that made getting coaching services even possible for me!

Congratulations to all the runners at this mornings . It was fun talking with so many of you from here in the Twin Cities and those of you that traveled from across the country to run this race.
And thank you to BU for supplying sunscreen to all the aid stations. There were more clouds than sunshine, but regardless of the conditions you always want to protect your skin!

Congratulations to our Mile To Marathon's Val Luutran (Denver based) as she continues to crush her races.
Today at the 10k she was just off her PR after setting a new PR in the marathon a few weeks ago. But she did manage to run sub 50:00 which earned her the coveted "sub50" shirt.
Next up is the iconic Garden of the Gods 10 mile. .com. l jealous, ive always wanted to run this race.
