Recruiting is in full swing! Whether you are a rising junior and have just started talking to coaches or a rising senior and looking to commit soon, there are so many things that go into finding the right school for you. The first being if the coaches you are talking to are seriously interested in you. You want to swim for coaches who are genuinely interested in you as a whole person and who want you on their team! That is something you will be able to feel out in the first few calls with a coach. Remember everyone is on their own path and every process is going to look unique! 📞✨🏊‍♀️🙌

There is one voice that you always have control over…YOURS! When you talk to yourself positively and encourage yourself towards your goals, it will be a step towards reaching them. You are putting in all the work, that is something you know better than anyone else, remind yourself of all the amazing things you can and will do! 🙌💪🏊‍♀️🏆

Today was the first day for rising juniors to have contact with college coaches. No matter what happened today, this was just one day across what can be a long journey to finding your perfect school! Your college recruiting process will be totally unique to you and we can’t wait to see where it takes you! 🙌📞🩵🏊‍♀️

Being present boils down to focusing on all the things that you can control during your race - going out fast, holding your pace, maintaining strong turns and under waters, and finishing with everything you have left! Your time is in the future and while you can control your swim, you cannot control what the scoreboard says when you look up after your race.
