North Star Nationals at MTS recap.
We practiced on Thursday night, tried some things that worked and of course some that didn't. But overall happy with the direction we were heading going into Friday night.

Night one of North Star Nationals..34 B mods checked in.
Heat 2nd-1st
Redrew 8 out of 8 for the feature. We knew it would be pretty tough to move forward with the level of competition that was in front of us, so we made a couple changes for the feature. We ran around the 7-8 spot for the first half of the race, until we had a steering part failure going into corner 3. Made heavy contact with the wall and got clipped by a couple other cars in the process.
After getting the car unloaded Saturday morning and getting some of the tin off, she's in tough shape. Pretty certain that it cant be fixed, but will find out this week. Either way, our season has come to an end. Not sure what the future looks like as of now, but we will figure something out.

Used the night as a test session.

Feature 5th-10th. Tried a few different things , but wasn't quite what we were looking for.

We made the trip to Deer Creek on Saturday night. 30 b mods checked in.
Heat 6th-3rd
Feature 8th-6th. Didn't make the right lane choices the last half of the race which cost us 3-4 positions. We had good speed, so well take it and move on.

Weekend update. We made the trip on Thursday to the Dodge County Speedway for their fair race. 44 b mods checked in.
Heat 2nd-2nd.
Feature 10th-DNF. Unfortunately we along with 3 or 4 others got caught up in someone else's mess on lap 2 and we were done for the night with to much suspension damage. We went to work right away Friday morning and rounded up enough parts, and finished the car up around 4 o clock and made our way over to MTS.

Feature 1st-1st!!
Snagged feature win #3 on the year and it was our first b mod win there. A super fun race with Harley Dais Racing , exchanging sliders and crossovers pretty much the whole race. Definitely an up and down weekend, but thats how it goes sometimes.

We can't stress enough how fortunate we are to have the great sponsors that we do. Im sure people get bored with us saying that we appreciate every single one of them, and we can't do this without em. But it's absolutely the truth. Gonna give it a go tonight!!

IT’S RACE DAY🏁

It’s finally time for the inaugural Dave Wetzstein Memorial Fair Race! We are preparing for a full house tonight will a lot of big name drivers in attendance.

A few side notes:

Drivers and crew will enter the pits through the south entrance. You can come off the main drag (Mantorville Ave) and turn onto 7th St NE to access the south pit gate. (Follow diagram below)

Drivers and crew! We are very limited on pit space with the anticipated car count. Please please please enter in one vehicle or keep crew vehicle’s outside the pits. It will help us out with parking tremendously.

Drivers entering the pits: We have painted white lines to help accommodate with parking. Please help us out and stay in between the lines to make sure everyone has a spot.

Pits open at 2PM
Grandstands open at 5 PM
Draw cut off/pit meeting 6:30PM
Hot laps 6:45

Felt good to get win #2 on the season after holding off a stout group of cars! We still got some work to do to get better, but we're working hard to find a little more speed. Our next race tentatively will be thurs at Dodge County Speedway for the Wetzstein memorial.
