A hot and humid evening at The Mishawaka Res
the heavy air and the loud trilling of insects surrounded the 23 acres of forested trails. No day is the same at The Res, but each day, beautiful. Come out and take a walk in the woods!

Great news today! The benches are now at Old Hickory Furniture Company in Shelbyville, IN. They confirmed that they were definitely made by their company. A huge thank you goes out to Chuck Ammerman who transported them down there today. We also appreciate all those who donated funds to make this happen. We can't wait to see the transformation.

Let us tell you about our volunteer summer crew!☀️

Every Tuesday this summer, this amazing group from the Logan Center cleaned the lodge, picked up sticks, and were always eager to do whatever needed to be done! They are rockstars! 🌟

Today was there final day with us this summer. They weeded our raised bed area and what a facelift they gave it! It looks great. We are so excited to be friends with this group and can’t wait to see them again!

Last night we had SNL - Acoustic Band play at the Dave Norris Amphitheater. A great crowd showed up to listen. There were about 65 - 70 people out for a beautiful night of music. There were even a few chairs set up in the meadow. Our parking lot was full. A big thank you goes out to the radio stations and TV stations that shared this event, and to everyone that came. Thank you SNL - Acoustic Band. Stay tuned for our next concert on August 21, the Hillsiders.
