Hello WHAM+ it’s time for our first ice session of the season September 7!

Try Hockey / New to Hockey (7:30–8:30 p.m.)

A beginner‑friendly session for anyone curious about hockey. Arrive at 7:30 PM to get fitted with gear (bring your own or borrow from WHAM+ volunteers). From 8:00–8:30 PM, the ice is reserved for new skaters and goalies with WHAM+ mentors. Try full gear, skating, stopping, passing, and shooting at your own comfort level. Skaters and goalies welcome.

Stick & Puck (8:30–9:30 p.m.)

Open to all women and non‑binary WHAM+ members. New skaters/goalies may stay on the ice and join returning members for informal practice—passing, shooting, skating, and self‑directed drills. No coaching or structured programming.

Gear Swap (7:30–9:30 p.m.)

Open to the entire WHAM community, including co‑rec members. Bring gear to donate or browse for items you need. Social and informal; participation does not require joining the on‑ice sessions.

Skaters: $12

Goalies: Free

That’s a wrap on WHAM+ 2025-26! Our skates are hung up, our breezers are airing out, and our hockey bags have been swapped for beach bags.

This year brought a handful of changes (hello, sub policy) that we would love to get your feedback on. We are asking for 10-15 minutes of your time in completing the end of season survey linked below. Your insights are invaluable to Da Board and will help us continue to make WHAM+ truly one-of-a-kind.
