In the movies, male Native American warriors rode off to battle while their female counterparts remained behind to cook, sew, and take care of the camp. In real life, this wasn’t always the case. Many warrior Native American women fought alongside men. The most famous of these was probably Buffalo Calf Road Woman, a member of the Northern Cheyenne tribe who fought in the Battle of the Rosebud and the Battle of Little Bighorn. In fact, according to the elders of the Northern Cheyenne tribe, it was she who dealt Custer his final deadly blow. Buffalo Calf Road Woman is just one of many incredible women you didn’t read about in history class.

Here I go again, but this time it’s not solo! Important for me to be accountable to myself and my prospective training partners. Yesterday, December 20, 2018, was my personal commitment day to exercise on a regular basis.
TEAM MUNRO CHALLENGE 2019 starts now. Input on team apparel welcome.
Greg and I went to the UM Fitness Center. He walked the track, I lifted weights and walked a few laps with him.

Good Morning! New posting going to happen about what we call our Eventual Ironman! :) On Oct. 1 G and I started working toward completing the distances of running, biking and rowing for a full ironman. ONLY we get 45 days to complete it! with our trip to Miles City I got my running done and we've been able to do about 1/2 of the biking (outside) and only about 10000m of rowing in the gym. I'll try to keep this page up to date about my progress. Gosh we have fun!
