🔥🏒 FIRE ON ICE 2026 RECAP 🏒🔥

What a night at the Glacier Ice Rink! The Wildlanders took the win in the 11th Annual Urban Inter-Face Off 5–3, but the Missoula Structure Firefighters skated away with the 14th Annual Fire on Ice victory 6–4!

Together we raised around $25,000 — every dollar going right back to local charities ❤️

The 13th Annual Fire on Ice did not disappoint last night!!! We raised over $19,000 for the Wildland Firefighter Foundation, Colin Snodgrass Memorial Scholarship and the Missoula Firefighters L271 Benevolent Foundation!!! The crowd was amazing around 1,400 thank you to everyone that braved the icy roads to come support your local firefighters!!! The hockey did not disappoint!!! In the 10th Annual Urban Interface- off the BomBEARos where able to win in overtime thanks to the quick shot of Missoula Fire Department Captain Joel Gaertig!!! That series is now tied at 5-5!!! In the second game the Wildlanders came out hot scoring in the first 30 seconds of the game!!! The BomBEARos were down 4-0 going into the 3rd period! After cleaning the ice from the hundreds of chuck-a-pucks and resurfacing we kicked off the 3rd period!! The BomBEARos were able to score 3 goals in the 3rd period. With a minute to go the BomBEARos pulled their goalie and waged a flurry of pucks at the Wildlanders goalie Dave Maclay- Shulte but “hyphen” was able to wage off the attack!!! The Wildlanders won 4-3!!! Thank you to everyone that came out and supported the event!!!! Huge THANK YOU to our sponsors that continue to support Fire on Ice year after year!!!!
