I have this.. I call it my Flora-Bama Test Bucket.. it's filled with a 50/50 mix of Gulf Shores, AL and Navarre Beach , FL sand.. I just finished tweaking settings on my XP DEUS2 and Minelab Manticore, with hopes that it'll garner me a little success.. I believe it works quite well.

Hi! I'm an active metal detecting enthusiast living in Mobile AL. I visit local Gulf beaches and venture inland in search of anything of interest.

I am willing to meet individuals that own or wish to own a metal detector and would like opportunities to learn about the technology they possess.

I've used a range of devices and have access to a piece of property that holds a variety of targets, as such, the property is a very good learning spot.

Started my quest to help a local find his lost ring.. The area is considerable..

I started with the grass area around the parking.. I’ll have to return and work different areas of the park.

What makes this challenging, is the ranger will not allow digging tools.. I have to hope the target is surface or slightly deeper… So MANY targets.. it’s overwhelming.

Will keep at it till I have to return home.
