One for me and one for him. ☺️💕 just because I don’t want it doesn’t mean he can’t have it. Cooking for different lifestyles doesn’t have to be difficult. 🌶 🥣
Edit:
*** all ingredients are organic
When in a pinch this is a quick meal to make for the whole family with and/ or without meat (which I cooked separately with the same seasoning/ spices). Cook on the stove, crockpot or instant pot. If you have planned it soak sôme beans - if you didn’t ( like me) use canned. It all works.
Bean Chili
Dice & Sautée
1 large onion
Once browned add Seasoning:
How much? You decide ☺️
Sea salt
Chili powder
Garlic powder ( fresh is great)
Paprika
Cayenne
Cumin
Cinnamon (not much- I figured why not and it’s great)
Stir
Add rinsed veggies
1 can black beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can corn
1 can tomato paste
6 tomatoes on the vine (I had them - use a can if you don’t)
If you like add some chilis.
Add water to cover.
Stir all ingredients and simmer until tomatoes are broken down.
Doesn’t really matter if not - you decide what you like- 30 minutes is plenty.
I set it on low in the Insta Pot because I had plenty of time before dinner.
IF YOU WANT TO ADD MEAT cook it while the beans cooking. Use the same seasoning - this way it has the same flavors as the beans when you add some to the meat.
I used Conecuh sausages, because they are shockful of flavor, but I left out the salt.
Once the meat is cooked down and the beans are ready just mix a portion of the beans with the meat and simmer a bit longer.
*** if you like to be adventurous- here is a little something extra beside The cinnamon- add a little bit of dark chocolate. I only added it to the meat portion to keep it clean for myself ☺️
Add and serve with whatever extras you and your family like. But it’s really good without any ad ons.

Thought I share what I made for dinner tonight.
This is similar to a recipe I posted a couple of years back, but I made it just from memory and it turned out pretty good.
*will post original once I find it. ☺️
Thai inspired - no recipe - just followed my instincts and some past inspirations. or just add

Seems to me that every year around this time I start brewing a few flavored teas to use in my shakes. Must be all those holiday flavors.
If this is too much work try the new limited Vegan Chai Protein from Arbonne. ☺️( link in comments below)
Now with Fall Season approaching I also get the hankering for those certain flavors. Like this morning-Chai Latte sounded so good. Of course I had to brew it first then let it cool before I could have one.
So, while I was at it I got out some mason jars and brewed a few different flavors while I was at it.
I love using tea to create new shake flavors & keeping some ready made in the fridge makes it so much easier.
Tea Flavors I used & which protein to pair it with.
• Chocolate Hazelnut: Great with Arbonne Vanilla and/ or Chocolate Protein, nuts and greens.
• Peppermint: I would probably use it with the Arbonne Chocolate Protein. Add nuts and greens to make it a complete meal.
• Chai Spice: this one will work wonderful with either the Arbonne
Chocolate or the Vanilla. Adding a healthy fat and some greens will make this a wonderful meal replacement shake as well.
*** spinach or kale blends very well with any of these flavors. So, it's even easier to turn your favorites into a complete meal :)
Or eat your greens and nuts on the side- your shake/ meal - the choice is yours :)

Yum! Had 1/2 c of sticky brown rice (1/4 raw) with a cup of mixed berries. To sweeten it a little I added 1 Tbs organic Maple Syrup.
*cooked rice regular in cooker first then simmered in coconut milk & more water for another hour or so on the stove to make it sticky.
