Trackside Go-Karts and Games and Trackside the Putting Place

We hope everyone had a great Christmas and that you have a happy and healthy 2026.
First off, we know the gokart track and mini golf course are in need of maintenance, but since we can’t find anyone willing to do even the regular upkeep ( cutting grass, trimming bushes, etc), Bobby can’t run the businesses and do all the necessary maintenance. He can’t pay much an hour, but maybe he can offer additional perks like some free mini golf or gokart rides. We want to keep the businesses open, but we need help to do that and make the premises more pleasant. With that said, we are sorry if we have not been open if you came by to ride GoKarts or play mini golf. It is hard to find anyone wanting to work and even harder during the holidays. Bobby will be open at the gokart track today, Saturday and Sunday at least until dark and if there is no one at the mini golf course, you can go to the gokart track and he can get you on the mini golf course.
He would like to be open during the week since schools are closed for the holidays, but he had no business last week and without customers it is hard to stay open and pay the expenses. Best to check with him this weekend if you are interested in him being open during the week.

Corrections to Winter hours at Trackside the Putting Place ONLY. Friday 4 pm-7pm and Saturday and Sunday 11 am-7 pm. Call if you would like to come after this time frame.

New winter business hours for Trackside Gokarts & Games and Trackside the Putting Place due to business being slow, cold weather setting in and getting dark earlier. We want to be able to offer Mobile and the surrounding area with gokart riding and mini golf, but it is hard to pay someone to work when we don’t have any customers. We know both places need General maintenance and sprucing up, but again with limited income and limited workers, we are doing the best we can.
For now, our winter hours at both places will be Friday-3pm-5pm
Saturday-11 am-5 pm
Sunday-11 am-5 pm

Unfortunately, we are looking for part-time help at Trackside the Putting Place again. It is not hard work. Please go see Bobby at the Gokart Track at 4820 Government Blvd., Mobile, AL if interested. It is hard to run 2 businesses with just 1 person, but that is what he is doing. Thanks in advance for helping us.

Thank you to those who responded to our request for someone to work at Trackside the Putting Place. Bobby has hired a young lady to fill that position. Now that someone will be in the building, please come and see her. Hopefully, the weather will turn cooler and it will be more pleasant to play mini golf. Unfortunately, we need to hire someone to work at Trackside the Putting Place. The hours would be Friday 4 pm-8:30 pm, Saturday noon- 8:30 pm and Sunday noon-7:30 pm. If you are truly interested, please go by snd see Bobby at 4820 Government Blvd., Mobile. We have had people call and say they are interested and then never show up. It is important that you have your own transportation so that you can be at work on time. Right now Bobby is trying to run the gokart and golf course by himself plus do all the maintenance and upkeep. We want to keep these businesses open for the Mobile area, but without help this may not be possible. The job does not may much right now, but if business picks up it will pay more and it is in cash. Hiping there is someone out there who would like some extra income and wants to see these businesses survive.

Well, Bobby was at the gokart track yesterday from noon until it started to rain and no one showed up to see about the part-time jobs except one sweet girl who just stopped by. Still looking for part-time employees at mini golf and gokart track. Have had several people say they would stop and talk to Bobby and then they don’t show up. We have been upfront about hours and pay. If you are truly interested in making cash money, please go see Bobby. This would be a great job for an older individual who is retired and on social security just wanting to make a little extra money. Thanks in advance for trying to help us.

We are having trouble finding someone to work part-time at Trackside the Putting Place. We know we can’t pay much right now because business has been very slow and when it rains we can’t open so we can’t promise a set number of hours for each weekend. This is hard for an employee who is counting on a set number of hours pay. With that said, in order to keep the business operating as it should be, we need someone to work in the mini golf course building when weather permits. Normally the hours are Friday 4 -9 pm, Saturday 2-9 pm. If business picks up then we would need someone from noon- 9 pm. On Sunday 2-8 pm. Again when business picks up noon-8 pm. Right now, Bobby is trying to to keep the gokart track and mini golf course open by operating both businesses from the gokart track by having customers for mini golf stop by gokart track where he has equipment and customers can access mini golf course through his back gate to the course. If you are that person who wants to help our small family owned business give the Mobile area this type of entertainment, we need you. As business improves so will the pay. Being right up front, starting pay is $8 per hour cash, paid on Sunday.

Just want to get the word out that TRACKSIDE GOKARTS AND GAMES AND TRACKSIDE THE PUTTING PLACE IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS. We have customers tell us they thought we were closed.
To set the record straight, both businesses are open Friday from 4:00 pm-8:30 pm +/-, Saturday 12:00 noon- 8:30 pm +/-, and Sunday 12:00 noon- 7:30 pm +/-. If we don’t have someone physically working at mini golf course a sign on steps will direct you to go to gokart track and you can still get on golf course.
During the week, if you want to ride GoKarts or play mini golf, please call Bobby at 251-367-0425/251-509-9265/251-377-4940. He is normally available after 12 noon, working somewhere on the properties. If he doesn’t answer one of the phones, please send him a text. It is hard to hear phone while equipment is running.
Again, please let your family and friends that these business are OPEN, but without customers it is hard to keep a business operating. We are doing our best to make the necessary updates. Thank you for your support.
