CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: Congratulating Chelsea on finishing her 50-mile trail run over the weekend! It takes discipline, mentally and physically, to log the mileage needed to complete 50 miles through rolling hills and a flash flood. Good job! 👍🏼

Training with “intensity” is something we hear a lot about.
But how do we know what is enough??
Intensity can absolutely be measured mathematically (how much work completed in how much time) - but ultimately what really matters is if you are regularly pushing your own physical and psychological tolerances.
This is different for every person. And even for one individual will vary day to day, season to season.
Often it’s the mental that needs to be trained.
Intensity (performed CONSISTENTLY) within the parameters of safe movement and getting proper recovery and nutrition is the way to the results that you are looking for.
How do you plan to push yourself this week?

The front squat:
Executed by our two lovely clients, Maggie & Kayla, who work so hard each time they step through the door!
Front squats are a compound movement that require multiple muscle groups to be on the same page to perform this lift effectively & efficiently! To keep it simple: You need length in your lats in order to hold a proper “front rack position” as well as significant core control to avoid trunk collapse. The quads, hamstrings & glutes then work together as a team to finish the hip drive and have you waddling through the rest of the week 🤩
Happy Monday to everyone!!! Let’s keep the week going strong!
