・・・Meet Neo! Neo is a blind Alaskan Malamute Labrador mix who traveled from Texas last year to Ohio in search of his forever family. This happy, gentle giant just turned one year old in December and is still very much a puppy!
Neo loves to play! He would love a furry friend his size to chase or play tug with in a fenced-in backyard. Even though Neo is a large-sized puppy, he is house-trained, knows some basic commands, walks well on a leash, and sleeps all night in his crate. He would do best in a home without small kids as he does get protective when startled.
Neo may be blind, but once he knows the layout of his surroundings, you will forget he can’t see. He has never met a stranger and being with people is what makes him happy! He enjoys belly scratches, going for walks, helping in the kitchen when food is being prepared and giving hugs and gentle kisses.
This sweet boy only wants to please and enjoys learning new things. If you think Neo might be a good fit for your family, he would love to meet you!
He is currently being fostered in Columbus, OH. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines/prevention. If you are interested in meeting Neo, please complete an adoption application through the link in bio 🐾

His spirits are high and is eating well. He’s getting used to walking on three legs and has had a few frights but, is learning!
We think he’ll be back to his favorite pastime of stealing blankets in no time!
We still need to cover his $3,079 surgery, so DONATIONS FOR HIS SURGERY ARE WELCOMED, NEEDED, AND APPRECIATED!

🥹 adopt Georgia
Hello! My name is Georgia!
My foster mom says I’m the best wiggle butt! I am a 4-year-old female Aussie mix weighing about 35 lbs. I am crate-trained, pott-trained, and learning commands (sit, down, kennel). I love going on walks and meeting new people! I settle down quickly in the crate and am very food motivated!
I get along with all of my foster fur siblings. I don’t seem to bother cats, but I should be supervised and kenneled when my owners are gone to be safe. I have figured out I can jump short fences, so I will require a tall fence if you have one! But I am perfectly ok going out on a leash, too. I’m very well-behaved and have good leash manners!
I love a good snuggle on the couch and all the belly rubs my human will give me! If it sounds like we would make a good team, I would love to meet you!
I am being fostered in Marysville, Ohio. I will be fully updated on vaccinations, spayed and prevention at the time of my adoption. If you are interested in filling out an application, please go to the link in bio 🐾

Matty loves all that life has to offer; the sun, running in the yard and will 100% cover you in drool.

Kuki needs a foster or adopter by May 1. Currently in the Bronx
Kuki is an 8lb chi mix that we rescued from a bad situation. His humans cared for him but battled their own inner demons that prevented them from providing him with the care he needs and deserves. He is about a year old and just the friendliest boy that loves to smile. Kuki gets along with dogs, cats, and children. As soon as he sees his person (or people) Kuki does joyful zoomies welcoming you into his space. Playful and sweet, Kuki bonds with people quickly. He becomes very attuned to his people and loves to chat with you. If you talk to him and look into his eyes, he will start chatting back. Please help us decode the Kuki! When receiving your undivided attention, he will tilt his head and make whistling sounds. Housebroken, crate trained, and affectionate, this young boy is a pocket sized dream come true.
Kuki is fixed, vaccinated, and chipped.

Meet Judy!
Judy is a super sweet but scared puppy mill mama that will melt your heart! She was brought to Speak! after being given up by her farmer for not conceiving. We are so happy she made her way to us!
Judy is a 2-year-old female Bernese Mountain Dog weighing about 65 pounds. She is starting to understand potty and crate training and is doing well on a leash. She is learning what it means to be part of a family!
This girl is very fearful of her new world, esecially quick movements and loud noises. She has found that she loves to be brushed but will play “statue” when you do because it is all new to her. She will relax and rest her head in your hands when she is being groomed and close her eyes. This has been a great bonding and trust exercise for her.
Judy loves other dogs, especially medium to large, but will not engage in play yet. She is watching and taking notes, though! When dogs approach, she wags her tail and is happy to see them. She enjoys following her foster sisters around and would do well with another confident dog in her new home.
She understands “Judy, Come” when she needs to keep it moving on a leash walk. She does not seem to be an endurance girl! She is definitely a runner, not a fighter when confronted with fear, and she will bolt if there is an open door! Due to this, Judy will require a fenced-in yard in her future home. She loves to be outside now that she has experienced grass but prefers a cold floor.
Judy is a beautiful girl that needs a family to call her own and teach her life as a pet. Love is foreign, as is life outside a concrete kennel in the woods. Her future home must be very patient and consistent because she is learning pet behavior and trust.
She is being fostered in North Canton, Ohio. She is spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccines/prevention. If you are interested in meeting Judy, please complete an adoption application through the link in bio 🐾

Repost with .repost‼️ Our shelter is in Crisis Mode ‼️
AHS Newark has ZERO open kennel space- we are maxed out to capacity. The shelter is completely overwhelmed by the dogs we take in on a daily basis and we are doing everything we can to keep up with the volume but it isn't enough!
Can you help? Fostering a dog is easy and free- ALL of our dogs are looking for a reprieve from the shelter. Fostering frees a kennel space as well as saving a dog from the stressful shelter environment! Apply link in bio
OR become a foster for the hundreds of rescue organizations in NJ so they can help with the ever-growing dog population at our shelter! We are DESPERATE for our rescues to help in any capacity they can- we have amazing dog & kid friendly dogs just waiting for their freedom ride!

Hi everybody!! My name is Ross Parker.
I am a male 8(ish)-month-old mix breed puppy. I am a deaf boy, but I am learning hand signals. Although my eyes are as blue as a crystal lake, I can see perfectly! My foster mom says I have two speeds in life, asleep & everywhere all at once.
I was found as a stray down in Texas and made the long trip to Ohio recently. I am a sweet boy who always wants to be by my people. I love my crate and go inside with no issues. I sleep through the night and recharge my energy for the next day.
I have recently discovered toys, and even though I am deaf, I love squeaky toys so much. I love to collect everything in life; the bigger my collection of stuff is, the happier I am. I just run around the house and collect things but haven’t chewed or ruined anything. I just make a pile around me, I have even taken a couch pillow and throw rug to fancy up my crate, but my foster mom said no and took them away from me. She obviously has no appreciation for interior design, I guess.
I am being fostered in Dayton, Ohio. I am neutered, microchipped, and updated on vaccinations. If you would like to meet me, please complete an adoption application through the link in bio 🐾
