The stage is set for the final day of the 2026 Louisiana Team Trail Championship here at Cypress Bend Park on Toledo Bend, and we can’t wait to see how it all unfolds!
Yesterday, these anglers battled some tough conditions. The wind and rough water put every team to the test, and by weigh-in you could tell they had left it all on the water. They were absolutely worn out after Day 1.
Today, the wind has eased up a bit, but Toledo Bend is still showing its teeth with plenty of rough water. It won’t be easy, and every fish is going to matter.
Who will put together the winning bag? Who has enough left in the tank to claim the $20,000 grand prize and earn the coveted title of 2026 Louisiana Team Trail Champions?
We’ll find out this afternoon. Good luck to every team—fish hard and fish safe! We’re going Facebook live at 2:50 PM

The Day 1 results for the Doggett - John Deere Louisiana Team Tournament Trail Championship at Toledo Bend were impressive especially under the changing lake conditions where wind was a major game changer for many that made for some very challenging navigation. John Pearce led the Day 1 Level Tech Lifting Big Bass with an 8.31 # kicker. The top 7 are pretty tight and anything could happen tomorrow, so stay tuned!
