Congratulations to 3 of our very own on earning First Team All District Honors for the 2026 season.

Monroe battled all day but came up just short and lost 11-10 in the Districts to Bedford.

In this up and down season for the Trojans the girls came out and played with energy and gave it there very best.

Sierra Daniels had a great day going 4 for 4 with 2 RBI, Aly Lewis had a Double, Home Run and 3 Walks on the day, Jennah Cadle had two hits on the day to lead the Trojans who finish the season 18 and 16.

Last night our 7th Grade team celebrated with an end of season team night/banquet.

Each girl was given a Certificate of Completion, an Individual Award, a Pock Hug Charm, and a custom keychain.

The season was based on growth and not record. From day one to the final day the growth and improvement from each individual player was huge. These girls never gave up, worked together as a team, and showed up everyday with positive attitudes.

We are excited to see these girls grow and develop under Monroe Softball!

District Information for Saturday, May 30th

-Everyone must come in the Main Entrance.

-There will be absolutely NO parking by the field. All parking must be in the school parking lot.

-There will be a golf cart to transport anyone with handicap needs from the parking lot to the field.

-A tent will be set up between the softball and baseball fields where you will enter to the softball field with your purchased ticket.

-All tickets must be purchased online via GoFan. This is a MHSAA State Tournament so admission is required for all adults and children.

❗️POST GAME RECAP❗️

Monroe dropped a pair of games tonight to Pickney. Despite the losses super proud of the team tonight, they played hard all night with some real positives and some learning lessons as they never quit!

-Senior Soffia Elmer excepted the challenge tonight to play short stop and what a great job she did super proud of her for being the leader she is and stepping in when we needed her.

-Jozi Willey had 14 asst tonight at 3rd base without an error.

-Sierra Daniels hit the ball hard all night along with Miller, Elmer and Willey.

-Emma Falkenberg is improving every game and was talking all night in the outfield to help her teammates.

A lot of positives and more things to fix.
