I know it isn't the end of the year yet, but I wanted to take the time for a quick recap/story. Last year I purchased a 3D Printer with the idea of just making some cool things for the house. I started playing around with a CAD software and found that with a multi-color printer I could make some pretty cool helmet logos. So, I started an Etsy page and thought maybe I could help supplement the cost of my son's baseball with it. Here we are, first year in. I kicked off my sales the end of January, and now halfway through December I reached 15,000 logos made. I have a library of over 1,000 custom logos I have designed. I have shipped to 43 states and have had nearly 100 repeat customers. There are 6 college baseball teams wearing my helmet logos, 3 college baseball teams wearing my chains, 42 High Schools wearing my helmet logos, and countless Rec, Travel, and All Star teams doing the same. If you watch College baseball on ESPN, you are likely to see a logo made right here in Monroe, GA. Some of the biggest Travel Programs in the country have ordered hundreds of these logos, including: Canes, Team Elite, SBA, USA Scout, and East Cobb. Side note, I have also made lacrosse and hockey helmet logos for nearly 10 college programs.
