We cheer for Monroe High School Football and Basketball games and compete throughout the year.

The Cheesemaker Competition Cheer Team competed at the Rock Valley Conference Spirit Championship today at Delavan-Darien High School in Varsity Game Day! They left it all out on the mat, and while they may have come up short on the scoresheets, I'm proud of all the hard work and effort that has gone into their routine this year, and we'll keep making improvements!

Senior Serenity Williams and junior Gianna Respino also each took home an Honorable Mention for their All-Conference Cheer solos today. Great job, ladies!

Thanks to Delaney Sak for the video of the routine today!

All current MHS students are welcome, as well as their parents.

Now that Homecoming is complete, we're looking forward to competition season!! Check out the competitions that your Cheesemaker Competition Cheer Team will be at this year, as well as who the members of the comp team are!

The team has been hard at work on their game day routine, and can't wait to show off their efforts! We're ready to build on what we started last year, and to take the Cheer program to new heights this year!

What do you do when your music doesn't play for your halftime performance? You adapt, of course! The team went out there and pivoted, like they do best, and did their performance to yelled-out counts instead of music. Truly a test of their flexibility! I'm so proud of them!

Some more pictures from our "Cheer with the Cheesemakers" mini cheer camp and halftime performance! Thank you to all the families who came out to support the event!

We had our Cheer with the Cheesemakers event tonight where elementary-aged kids got the chance to attend a mini-cheer camp in the afternoon and perform what they learned at halftime of the MHS Football game against Edgewood!! The mini cheerleaders did so great!

The team also threw some new stunts for this year tonight!
